marathon training update

Every day it seems like one body part or another is either feeling tight or hurting. CrossFit and marathon training has done a number on me and it’s a good one. I feel stronger and fitter. 

Yay! I know I have a long way to go but it’s still fun to see the small changes happening to my body.

Giving up bread has done wonders for my energy levels and waistline. I have been sticking to my eat clean lifestyle. I rarely crave bread anymore. The big plate of bagels at last weekend’s race did not tempt me at all. I credit green smoothies too.

I would probably feel even better if I got more Zzzzzs. I am still staying up way too late and getting up way too early. I need a sleep intervention. Anybody?
