8k run in the dark. Can anyone say, boo?

My upper body was stiff on my run tonight. My shoulder and my upper back felt heavy. I stopped a couple of times to stretch and shake it out but it didn’t help much.

I stretched my back and shoulders good after my run. My posture sucks. I really need to do something about it. That and a million other things. Sigh. But I am working on it so… so there.

I’ve convinced a few coworkers to run the Lacombe in Motion race in October. There’s a 2k, 5k, 10k and 21k. I’m not sure if I should do the half-marathon or just the 1ok. It would be fun to run with my coworkers because they will most likely run that distance. But I need to keep my NYCM training in mind. So we will see. Tomorrow I decide.
