Gosh so much to say about my 26 km run. I’ll start with the scariest bit.

You know when you run on the ski trails you never know what you will come across. Mostly it’s either wildlife or wild people.

A couple characters stood out this morning. First I passed this guy with tattoos and a big black dog twice. He was running up and down one hill carrying a kettle ball.

Then I passed another guy sitting on a bench with his legs crossed with his arms outstretched to the sky. His eyes were closed and he was listening to an iPod. When I passed, he opened his eyes and said hello.

Now here’s the scary part. I was nearly attacked by a big ass snake. I nearly stepped on it and it turned around and hissed at me and then slithered off into the woods. He looked a little like this.

Scary right? I thought Alberta didn’t have snakes or is it rats? It was a traumatic moment.

  1. Never knew such creatures exist in canada lol, well now i have to be very careful of my going into bushes lol.

  2. I like puppies because I can cuddle with them. Snakes, on the other hand, give me the creeps. Scary. Once when I was a child, we put the dead snake skin in my aunt's bed. It scared her too.
