all roads in Cambodia

I’ve made it to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Despite changing my mind a thousand times, I decided once and for all to spend my last days here instead of on the beach. So far my decision was the right one.

Yesterday Annie, Andrea and I spent roughly 12 hours on various buses on some of the bumpiest roads in the world to get to Siem Reap. It was hot, scary and exciting. Our faces and clothes were filled with dirt and dust by the time we arrived at our guesthouse. At the border, Andrea and I thought Annie was ready to call it in and turn around to Bangkok.

We hired a driver and headed straight for the temples. The weather was beautiful and the temples were awe inspiring. Our day was finished exploring Angkor Wat right before the rain started to beat down and the power to go out.
