Let’s do this!
Full of energy with no brain fog, I felt amazing when I went raw for a month last January. I told this to new friends at our recent vegan potluck. One woman had also tried raw through the famous Raw Till 4 lifestyle. I had initially thought I would go raw till 4 but in the end I well all in with 100 per cent raw.
Now here we are nearly a year later and I am back on the raw bandwagon. This time I am eating raw until 5 p.m. That means I will revisit my old favourites and introduce new meals along the way. The good news is that three other people from our Eat Like You Give A Damn (Vegan Red Deer 2.o) have also committed to the challenge.
Just like that.

No cheating … but … full disclosure … I will continue to drink coffee. Hopefully my increased water intake will squash my afternoon coffee cravings. Yup I am already off to a great start.
Get my head on straight. I’m hoping by cleaning up my diet (no vegan junk food) that I will feel better. I’ve been very scattered since September. Sometimes we just have to scale back in certain areas of our life and that makes all the difference.
Lose the 8 pounds that I gained since September. Really this is not a diet but a focus on what is good for my body. I’ve also stepped up my running so I have no doubt that cleaning up my diet will help shed those extra pounds.

Right so here we go … now off I am to eat an entire watermelon. Just kidding but that sounds lovely. Honestly this won’t be a big challenge for me. I love fruit and vegetables. Well duh you’re thinking but I know several vegetarians and vegans who survive on processed vegan junk food. Crazy, right?
My dehydrator has not been getting enough love lately so I am going to dust it off and start making my famous treats.
