I feel really good about this week’s training. Although my body probably hates me right now, I managed a few good sessions. Guess who found her groove? It helped that I didn’t have to work too many night shifts. That kills my momentum.
Week 7:
Monday: Rest
Tuesday: 5k steady
Wednesday: 7.6K – 3k warm up followed by 2x800m and 3k cool down
Thursday: 10k Tempo
Friday: Rest
Saturday: 5.5k easy run + kettlebells
Sunday: 30k LSD – my longest distance so far in this training cycle.
Just a short update … I hit my targets on the 800m so I look forward to adding more intervals this week. My LSD was uneventful but I felt much better than I did last week. It also helps that I didn’t drink the night before or stay out late.
