And I thought Monday was tough

Honestly I felt okay for most of Monday. But I knew I would be hurting at some point. Got to love DOMs. You never know when it’s going to kick in. Tuesday’s WOD did not help. Thrusters after a zillion squats? Are you kidding? Again I could have easily skipped this one and claimed soreness from Monday. I thought what the hell. I am going to hurt one way or another.

Melea was pretty impressed that four of us showed up on Tuesday. I was impressed and happy that I was not the only one. As usual I was the last off the rower. I do not heart rowing. The thrusters were tough.  My goal was to try to get at least 8 rounds. It was painful. The last time I did this WOD I used 20 pounders. This time I stayed with 15 pounds. And it was still painful.

My legs deserve a trophy after Monday & Today’s WODs. Seriously.

I powered through a few sets to make my goal of 8 rounds. It was so darn tough. We all had sweat pouring off us. Success.

By 2 o’clock I could barely walk. My abs were screaming bloody murder and my quads were on fire. Yup this girl was on fire. All in all it is great to have these kind of workouts once in awhile. I don’t think I could handle them everyday. Remember, I still have to run. I can’t do this if I can barely walk up or down the stairs.

Good times! Wednesday will definitely be a rest day.
