My Garmin hasn’t seen so much action since October. I’m back into training mode and into the double digits. There’s no messing around. I have to get my groove back. I miss running. I’m healed so there’s no excuses.
Call me motivated. I have a half-marathon to run in less than two months. If that isn’t motivation enough, I don’t know what is! I went out for a 11 km “long run” this afternoon. I wanted to join the runners at Running Room but my pillow won that battle.
I won’t lie to you. It wasn’t pretty. I can’t remember the last time I ran into the double digits. I think it was my October marathon. Yikes. Mind you I have been injured. Still it feels like forever.
This week I ran three times. I even dug out my training book. I am serious. It’s on just like donkey kong.
