Starting the week off right

I didn’t want to go to CrossFit. Having the daily WODs posted can be a blessing but also a curse. It’s easy to skip a workout that I don’t want to do. It’s not because I am lazy it’s mostly because I feel like a complete moron.

It’s no secret I’m lacking in the upper body strength area. Try as I might I’m not seeing much progress. It’s embarrassing alongside all these rock stars at Ignite. But on good days I an swallow my pride and keep at it.

My confidence is building. I don’t feel like that complete moron as much as I used to when I first I joined the regular classes.

This morning I was the only one in the 8 a.m. session. It wasn’t that bad. Coach Dave is super nice and he gets my fear of being a dork and confidence.

The WOD was not so bad. Yes I was huffing and puffing at the end. The box jumps were challenging. I used a box for the handstand push-ups and the usual lime green elastic bands for the pull-ups.

I feel stronger already. Happy Monday.
