I am confused. So I’m training for my first marathon. I’ve been reading a lot on line about marathon training plans, nutrition, cross training and everything related to running.
But I am reading conflicting reports on the long run. Some articles say I should run up to 38 km or further or I should only run for two hours or at most. Then there’s these articles that say I should run long every three weeks or so.
My head is spinning. Of course I don’t want to get hurt. I know my body needs to rest so I am not pushing it. This week is turning to be one of those scaled back weeks. But I am okay with that.
I took tonight off because of lack of sleep and I wanted lie around and drink white wine.
Tomorrow’s run will be fabulous.
