26 km to 26 miles

Despite only getting six hours of sleep last night I rose early to run 26 km. Sigh. Why do I do this to myself?

Surprisingly it wasn’t a bad run. I didn’t feel sleep deprived at all. I ran from my apartment to the Perimeter Trail, through the River Bend Ski Trails and back home. I liked this route except it was a little short of what I wanted to run today. I had to do a loop a few times. 
The worst thing is doing an out and back and then finishing short of your desired mileage. I hate having to “find” kilometres after I have run for a few hours. 
I think I am done for the day. My legs started to complain around the 19 km mark but I treaded on. I am not totally spent so that’s a good sign.
