Just a half a block from my new place is a steep staircase leading to this condo on the top of the north hill. Since I moved on Friday, I have eyed those inviting steps. Yesterday I had my LSD run so I didn’t want to mess up my pattern.
But tonight I decided to try those stairs out for the first time. I ran 2k to warm up at a nice pace before I made my way to the stairs.
If you have been following my blog, you know how much I love stairs. I mean my butt and legs love the benefits.
Tonight I ran up and down the stairs for a good 20 minutes before I ran another 2k. Monday is supposed to be my rest day but since I did not meet my mileage target last week I thought this extra workout wouldn’t hurt.
I had a good stretch on my yoga mat too.
I know it’s only been 3 days but the tweaking of my diet is going well. Yay, team Crystal!
