Audrey and I have decided to try this marathon training plan from one of John Stanton’s running books. We really need some sort of plan to get us to New York. More like I need a plan and something to keep me honest. We have five months of training ahead of us and it’s going to go fast.
The one training plan has us running 6 days a week. I’m not sure that’s a good idea. I know I will need the rest so I may tweak the plan a little bit. Amber also sent a training plan so I will likely merge the two plans together.
I ran along the river tonight after work. I wanted to run before work but I couldn’t get out of bed in time. Thankfully I only have two more days of afternoon shifts. The 12-8 shift really messes up my after work life.
I end up staying up too late. I worked until 11 on Monday and Tuesday and back to 12-8 today. I am happy to be back on track next week. This is my last weekend off before I am back to my regular two weekends on, two weekends off work schedule.
