First rain, then snow

Yup it was snowing this morning when I headed out to meet a friend at the Farmers’ Market. I had to go back inside the house to swap my sandals for boots. Not an ideal situation for June 4. Isn’t it supposed to be spring?
Fortunately the snow did not stick. It’s clearing up now. I’m hopeful I can run outside. I was going to the gym later but I am going to wait a bit on the weather. I’m due for a steady and longish run with no interruptions.
We walked around the market for a bit. I was assured the market is usually teeming with shoppers on sunny days. I was soaked and I wouldn’t be surprised if a cold wakes me up tomorrow morning. Afterwards we went to Dentooms, a greenhouse just east of Red Deer. I didn’t purchase any flowers but my friend picked up enough to start her own flower garden.
Now I am sorting through some stuff before I go grocery shopping for staples and my run.
