Training update

Feeling good. I am taking today as a rest day from running. I had planned on heading to the gym to do weights but I decided to “screw it.” I am giving my body some rest. I did try the machines at the outdoor fitness park but I didn’t work that hard.
I am dialling down my mileage this weekend. Next week I will run the Woodys RV half-marathon. I haven’t set a solid. I’d like to finish below the 2 hour mark. Not sure I can do it. This route is pretty hilly and I am just starting to pick up my pace again.
Whatever happens, happens. I am looking at Woodys more as a jumping point for my marathon training. I am so excited to race. (Let’s be clear, I am not really racing but I am pumped because nothing beats a race atmosphere!)
