It’s tough to take that first step. Again this morning, I didn’t want to get out of bed for my long run. But I knew I had to do it. I actually managed to get out the door before 9 a.m. I ran the same route as last Sunday but I added another kilometre halfway through so I could finish at 18k.
The first 4k was tough. My right foot was bitching and I felt stiff. Around the 7k mark I felt better and continued on my way.
It got really hot at one point. I had to stop and remove some clothing. I’m still dressing like it’s winter. I was thinking next weekend, I break out the shorts.
Overall I give the run a 7. The second half was much better than the first. I’m spending the remainder of the day prepping veggies for the rest of the week.
