I resumed my stairs/hill repeats this morning. Actually I ran more stairs than I did hills. I drove to Parkland Mall than I ran 3k and back (6k). It’s a hilly route so I had my work cut out for me. I passed a bridge with stairs so when I turned around I ran up and down 5 times on both sides of the bridge. I probably should have pushed it more but my right leg was acting up.
I know I should have warmed up more before I attacked those hills. Next time I will be sure to stretch and warm up.
The sun has shined all morning so that’s putting me in a good mood. I’ve gained weight over the last few months. I feel like a sow. I don’t know how it happened. Well, yeah I do. January/February were bad months for running and I was pretty inactive and stressed. I am going to turn it all around now that I am a little more settled and a lot less stressed.
