My training this week has been good. Yesterday I ran a speedy 10k. Well the first 5k was pretty speedy. I was huffing and puffing the whole way so I know I was working it. I felt really good afterwards. I felt good pushing myself again.
It’s still pretty crappy outside for running. I had to dodge plenty of puddles. I ran around in circles a bit because I couldn’t find a clear sidewalk to run on. I am crossing my fingers, this isn’t the case this week. I have to pound out at least 16k to keep me on track for the Woodys half-marathon. The training log has reinvigorated my running.
I found a couple new trails this week. I can’t wait until this summer to run on them. It’s going to be so nice!
