I went to spin class tonight. I am finally getting the hang of it. Meaning, I am more comfy on the bike. But let’s be clear – spin is freaking tough. You really have to work it. I was a few minutes late for the class. I was just happy I made it because I had a stressful day. Nothing was clicking.
My back is really bothering me for some reason. I never have any back issues so it is a little worrisome. Yesterday there was only pain in my lower back and now my upper back and shoulders are feeling it. I almost decided against the spin class. While most people think you only work your lower body in spin, your upper body has work to do too. I probably didn’t do any favours for my recovery.
I won’t worry too much. I am sure I will self-heal in the next day or so. It’s just puzzling because I haven’t done anything out of the ordinary.
This weekend, I am joining Laverna and Crystal Miller in a three-person relay race at the Wapiti Nordic Trails. It’s only 3k each so it should be no sweat. Although I am probably going to have to run 5k just to warm up.
