My good buddy, Jean gave me a gift certificate for Coles book store. Yay! I need a good book or two to read right now. I have finished the Daily Planet book – but it’s more of a reference book. I need a good story to inspire me.

Last night was our party. All the guys in the office were dressed in suits. They cleaned up pretty good. Pete rocked a pinstripped suit. He’s adorable. Joel topped off his suit (or should I say bottomed off?) with a pair of Converse. Loved it.

As much as I tried to drink myself into oblivion, it didn’t. I think the barmaids were watering down the drinks. That’s probably a good thing because I did not want to the ass at the office work party. I do enough of that at nonwork parties.

Overall it was a good weekend. Jean and I went to Jeffries (a nice earth friendly restaurant) for my first time. Jean always raved about it. Afterwards, I had a great run. The weather was gorgeous and the trails were clean.
