Actually Steve, the second day of my fast did not bode well. I drank two cups of coffee and ate white rice and a bagel with creme cheese. The latter two delights were not per my usual menu but I had cravings. It’s a light cleanse for only 15 days so we’ll see how I feel after.
Pete, in my office, tried it last week but he felt nothing. I don’t think he followed it very closely. I mean you’re not supposed to change your diet completely but the package suggests eating more veggies and organic. Since my diet is mostly veggies anyway, it shouldn’t be too difficult for me to follow. Like I mentioned before the only thing I will struggle with is the alcohol. The lady at the health store said I should limit my alcohol intake. Also, I like bagels! But I am pretty good at eating them in moderation.
You don’t know how quickly today passed. I managed to write the first article in my series (yay for me!). Actually I have more time to complete the articles because the forum was pushed back two weeks. (More time yay for me too!) I wrote a short article about a new task force for the planned cultural centre here in town.
It’s snowing now. I don’t mind as long as it doesn’t freeze overnight. I want to drive to Wembley for the Remembrance Day celebrations. I’m not thrilled about driving on the highway with no winter tires.
