Men at Work

Construction and spring come hand and hand. What started out as a crappy rainy day ended in the warmest day since I moved here. Plus 18, can you believe it? I spent most of the day outside. I had to take my car in this morning for the three month check up. The service guy said since I had my oil change two months ago, it wasn’t necessary to waste my time today. Why did they insist I needed a check up last week? Ugh!

I washed my car then. It still looks awesome except for the big scratch on the front…where and when that happened, I have no idea.

I sprained my thumb last night in taekwondo. A combination of holding the focus pad incorrectly and a kid who has wild kicks caused it. Good thing I don’t need that thumb for typing. I bought a brace to mobilize it. I hate injuries! Luckily it wasn’t anything too serious. I am thinking about letting up on tkd in the summer. I just want to be outside and rollerblade. I’m feeling slightly out of it because of the running three days a week and taekwondo three days a week too. My body is screaming for rest. I should heed its demands before I seriously get hurt.
