I know. I know.
I have been MIA for weeks. I am surprised I still remember my log in information.
Firstly I was acting managing editor for two weeks. Translation? I was working extra hours and using my free time to run. I even hit pause on yoga. And over the last two weeks I have been in the homeland – Ottawa. I’ve been busy visiting friends and checking out the changes in the city. I haven’t been in Ottawa for five long years.
Blogging has not been on my mind. (I am often suspicious of people who are on holiday or have just raced or whatever and MUST blog about it every single day.)
I had a wonderful holiday.
Sometimes you just need to turn off everything and see where live takes you. I find sometimes we just get caught up with the on-screen lives, and we lose sight of what really matters in life. Often times it is too late before we realize.
I leave early tomorrow for Calgary. Over the next few days, I’ll share a little of my holiday with you. It was great seeing family and catching up with my old friends. Gosh I love this city!
Time really does fly. I think it’s important to make the most out of everyday because you don’t know how much time you have left to do all the things. We think we have all the time in the world. Sadly that is not the case.
My advice is to live every day to the fullest. My favourite line is you are not a tree. If you are unhappy with something, move or change. It’s that simple. You are not a tree rooted to the ground.
Are you a blogger? Do you ever take breaks from blogging? I would love to hear from you in the comments below.
Glad you are back!
