I wish I could practice Bikram hot yoga every day. I told Christina, one of the fabulous instructors, after tonight’s class. I always feel so amazing and spent after class. I may have an overall crap class but I always find something positive or rewarding in those 90 minutes.
I scaled back on yoga this month because I am now in full training mode. I really need to re-jig my training schedule so I can fit more time on the mat. I think that 30-day yoga challenge ruined me forever.
HELLO WEEKEND
It’s been a crazy long work week. I know it was the usual five says but it seemed so gosh darn longer than usual. Crazy, right? I am so excited for the weekend. Not that I have exciting plans but I am just ready for a time out. I have been reading some good and some not so good books lately and I want to cross off a few more this weekend.
So tomorrow I am on the road to Calgary my 30K race/training run in the morning. Right now I just want to sleep in until noon. But I am sure I will change my tune once I get to the race. I just have to remind myself that it is training and to take it easy.
I don’t have time to be injured.
Happy Friday!
Good luck on your race! I’m looking forward to the recap!
I love yoga, but not hot yoga. I don’t want to sweat while I’m posing.
