Hello sunshine.
I am in training mode.
That means I have less time to blog. I promise to keep you updated but I won’t be writing daily updates. Stay tuned to my Facebook, Instagram and Twitter feeds.
Time sure is ticking away. Spring is here. It only seems like yesterday that I was complaining about putting on my winter tires. Now I have to take them off and buy a new set of tires. (Remember the wrench in the tire incident?)
I met a group of Korean hikers in Bragg Creek on Saturday. They asked to take a picture with me. Too funny. I felt like I was on a mountain in Busan.I was too late to meet Rachel’s group so I just went my own way. I ran the telephone loop and added a couple of kilometres on at the end for a total of 18K on Saturday. The snow and ice are finally melting on the trails.
This was a good week training wise. My mileage was still low at 58K but I am pretty happy with my progress. I also found myself on the yoga mat four times this week. I think it’s really helping with my everything. I really love the yoga. If it weren’t so time-consuming I would go everyday.
With that in mind, I decided to be one of those runners who stops, drops and yoga. I started with the most difficult pose – dead body pose or Savasana. I would have stayed longer in this pose for more than 20 seconds but I was nearly run over by a mountain biker.
Who knew yoga could be so dangerous?
Your pictures are so beautiful!
What are you training for?
