I don’t know about you but fall is my absolute favourite time of the year to run. I love the changing of the leaves and the cooler temperatures.
But I didn’t run today because I am saving all my energy for my 10-mile/16 km race on Saturday. I am slightly freaked out. It’s been some time since I ran a hard 10 miles or 10 miles at all. What have I gotten myself into?
I picked up my race kit after work. It was great to see Diane and her crew handing out the bibs. Neil patiently pointed out the water stations on the route. (They are on the website. Oops!)
The race starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday. It’s a late start but there’s a barbecue waiting for the runners at the finish line. Diane mentioned that she would be picking up veggie hot dogs for the herbivores. (Personally I would like a kale salad but beggars cannot be choosers!)
Good luck!!!
Good luck on your race!!
