Let’s be truthful here.I know many of you only look at the pictures on my blog posts. That’s okay. I get busy too and I do not have time to read long-winded posts. And sometimes it’s just nice to look at pictures.

I snapped this picture in Golden, B.C. After my crazy drive through the rain storms, I was thrilled to see blueish skies and no sign of rain.

I met Jack and Lisa in Kamloops to drive to the ferry together. They were headed north on the island to visit family. It was a weird coincidence that we would be in Kamloops at the same time.

Three of my favourite things: 1. Salad 2. Bar and 3. Mis-use of a word. (Can you spot the error?)
At DeMilles’ in Salmon Arm, I ate this entire pint of strawberries. I was excited to eat fresh strawberries. It’s been so long. I was tempted to buy an entire flat.
Waiting outside the West Vancouver ferry terminal, I took this picture. I could smell the ocean. I took a walk while Lisa and Jack settled down for a quick coffee.
And we were off. Let my Vancouver Island adventure begin!

This is my Titanic moment.
