Diane and I spent a great day in Bragg Creek on Saturday. I love seeing the trail for the first time through someone else’s eyes. We also saw a cow and the back end of a deer.

You never quite know what you’re going to come across in the wilderness.

We hiked and ran down Moose Mountain for a total of 29 km. I was happy to give Diane some pointers on downhill running. In a few short weeks she will be doing Leg 4 of the Death Race. This involves running up and down Mt. Hamel in the dark. Yikes! I know Diane is going to kill it. The first step in meeting any goal is to believe you can do it. Diane is totally up for the challenge. I am so excited for her!

Of course it wasn’t all about the training. Afterall it is 2015. If we don’t take pictures and post them on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and the like, it didn’t happen.

Sometimes I just have to say it – I am just so cool. Love this self-timed photo. Sometimes I can be quite the ham for the photographers. Please don’t judge 🙂
