I didn’t go to Crossfit once last week. (More on that in a post to come). Therefore I had tons of time to run. I racked up 68 kilometres, up 6 kilometres from the previous week. Generally speaking my runs were pretty awesome. Sure there were days where I didn’t hit my pace or my legs felt like lead.
Stuff happens. No sense in complaining or dwelling. Nobody likes a whiner.
I love my Wave Rider 17s. There’s nothing like a new pair of sneakers to put a smile on my face. Now I need to see about getting some new running attire to match!
Week 7:
Monday: Easy 6.5K hilly run (10 repeats)
Tuesday: 5K
Wednesday: 4K (Rest #RunToCanadaDay)
Thursday: 7.5K 6×400 intervals
Friday: 10K
Saturday: 29K LSD
Sunday: 6K
It’s coming down to the wire. Whoo hoo! Only 40 days or so left (and much of it will be spent tapering). I head into this next week feeling confident and excited!

How’s your training going? Are you making any tweaks?
Nice job on your training last week! I wish I could say that mine went well ๐
Sorry to hear ๐ Chin up! Still got time to recover.
Great week! I have never done hill repeats or track running. I am just at the very beginning of my first marathon training (well, technically the training hasn't even started yet).
Thanks! I am still relatively new to track work but I do enjoy it when I get there!
I'm loving my new runners these days too! Looks like you had a great week! Let the countdown close in!!!!
