Time is ticking away! I felt really good with this week’s training. I closed my eyes and tuned out the snow. Try it. Magic. I know last week I was driving myself crazy with worry about my marathon. I feel good today. (Yes, my mood changes hourly).
I focused A LOT on maintenance and rest this week. I don’t think my foam roller and lacrosse balls ever got as much action as they did this past week.
Week 10:
Monday: Rest
Tuesday: Lunges/Cross training at home
Wednesday: 10k easy breezy run
Thursday: 8k lunges & hill repeats
Friday: 6.5k tempo & 4x400m
Saturday: 7k run with Brent
Sunday: 30K LSD
Mother Nature says she’s turning up the temperatures this week. I am looking forward to a solid week of tempo runs & speed.
