Marathon Monday: Week 9 Tucson Marathon Training

This week ….
Oh yes the snow came this week. Time to be strategic. Had to get quality work in before the big snowfall on Sunday. I did pretty good. I even made it to crossfit on Thursday night. This was the first time in a month that I stepped in the box. I’ve missed it a lot. 
I did some rowing to start. Then I did a few C&Js and finished with some shoulder presses. I think I may have done something funky to my neck while lifting. Now it makes an awful clicking sound when I turn to the right. Weird. 
I went for a massage on Thursday. The particitioner told me I am super tight in my shoulders and neck. This came as no suprise as I work on a computer all day. I booked another appointment for Tuesday. Got to get this sorted out. 

Week 9:
Monday: 30 x laps at the pool
Tuesday: 8k easy run
Wednesday: 5k easy run
Thursday: Crossfit 
Friday: 10k tempo
Saturday: 7k 4x800m in the snow!
Sunday: 1.5 hour LSD run in the snow (High knees all the way. Nothing ploughed!)
Another week in the training log. Whoo hoo! Happy Monday!
