Marathon Monday: Week 4 Tucson Marathon Training

Just when things couldn’t get worse in my training … I develop a cold on Sunday night. Not sure where it came from but I felt horrible as the week progressed. Sore throat. Gross cough. Headache. Because I wanted to run Melissa’s on Saturday, I crossed my fingers, put my sneakers in the closet and hoped for the best.

Monday: Rest

Tuesday: 5K tempo

Wednesday: Rest

Thursday: Rest

Friday: Rest

Saturday: Melissa’s Road Race – 22K (See race report)

Sunday: 1 hour walk

As I write this post, I am still not healthy. It’s so frustrating. I’ve been whining about it all week. I’ve turned into a big baby. Cross your fingers that this cold will past & quickly.  I picked up this magic tea called Organic Cold 911 from David’s Tea. I was assured this would do the trick and send my cold packing. Cross your fingers and have a happy Monday.
