Thank goodness I have running to keep me sane. I am only 20 minutes or less away from being stress free. Except tonight, I decided to rush to Crossfit. There’s a 5 p.m. class so I left a few minutes early so I could make it.
For strength we were supposed to do 5×1 of 90 per cent of our 1 RM deadlift. Iain says I have runners’ legs where my knees tend to go in when I squat. Not news to me so I worked on correcting my technique. I didn’t attempt to do 90 per cent so I did a few at 195 pounds.
Our WOD was 500 metre row & 6 push press in a 15 AMRAP. I wasn’t feeling the row so I substituted a 400 metre run. I pulled out 5 rounds plus 400 metre run which was pretty much in line with the rest of the WODers that day.
Working out was just what I needed! Great way to start my weekend.
