September Goals & Long run Sunday

My long runs are never boring. This morning, I had the last two Trail Runner Nation podcasts to keep me entertained. Beautiful weather + great podcasts = perfect for running long. Around the 17k mark, my right foot/hamstring were kicking up a fuss. This little hiccup is turning out to be a real pain the butt – literally. Must make it a priority to shower my foot/leg with some TLC for the next while.

While I was running, I set three September goals.

1. Make every run/workout count. No more going through the motions. I may have been guilty of this a bit this month.

2. Get an extra hour of sleep each night. I started staying up too late again. Got to nip this in the butt before it gets out of hand.


3. More focus at work. I’ve been dealing with personal junk right now and I have been quite distracted. This also needs my attention before it gets out of hand!
