Good eats Nova Scotia style

Nothing beats sampling local food when on holiday. I had no trouble with this. That’s what I call immersing oneself in the local culture. I didn’t eat everything you see here (but close). I loved just about everything. My only complaint was the lack of green smoothies. I was missing my Vitamix by the third day.

I went to Joe’s in Wolfville twice to eat Scott Skins. I loved this post-drinking/pre-drinking/everyday snack while I studied at Acadia. I think EVERYONE who went to Acadia loved them. They tasted just as awesome as I remember.

I went to the Halls Harbour Lobster Pound a few times to breathe in the saltwater in the air. My mother ate haddock and rice at one outing. There’s so much on the menu that I wanted to sample. On my last day, I ate lobster mac and cheese. It was delicious. (Sorry I forgot to take a picture).

Seafood chowder was my favorite dish. While it was bloody hot most days, I could not resist this creamy dish. So so tasty!
