It felt good to be back at the box. Last night I went to mobility to loosen up my muscles before I lifted this morning. I was excited so I didn’t have too much trouble rolling out of bed this morning.
While I am not 100% recovered from my ultra, I felt fine to resume CrossFit. My left foot is giving me some grief. I decided to take it easy and not load the bar. Coach Melea was totally on board with my “rehab.” I warmed up a bit on the rowing machine before I attempted some strength.

In the end I just used the 45-pound bar to loosen up my legs for the WOD.

AMRAP in 10 minutes:
5 Deadlifts at 65%
5 K2E/T2B/Situps
As for the WOD, I also went light on the deadlifts. Sweating at the end of the WOD, I squeezed out 14 rounds. I was just happy to be back in the thick of it. I missed my early-morning family!
