My week without CrossFit

I decided this week I would not try to fit in Crossfit and running into my schedule. I work a mix of afternoons/nights and it always messes with my routine. Generally when I have the afternoon shift, I still get up for 6 a.m. Crossfit then nap for a couple hours before work.

This week I just didn’t want to try and balance everything. Besides the class hours do not work for me. The weather is finally nice and I am getting down to the wire for my speedwork. My body is tired. I need to concentrate on one thing – running.

I am sleeping in and running before work. I’m also giving my kettlebell some action. It’s nice to take a break every now and then.

So you see I am not a total slacker. Really. Not a slacker. I’m loving being outside! It’s been a miserable, miserable winter.
