Triple Threat Tuesday

When all the stars align, I head to CrossFit and Mobility. And I squeeze in a short run on Tuesdays. Today our WOD today consisted of  SDHP (5), kettlebell swings, (10) and wallballs (15) in 12 AMRAP. The wallballs nearly killed me. These AMRAPs look harmless but  they can be so challenging. I pulled 7+5 rounds out of my butt. I was huffing and puffing on the floor for a good 5 minutes.

I left work a little early so I could get my run in. I parked at Ignite ran along the trail system near the box. I warmed up for 10 minutes I threw some intervals into the mix. I have a lot of work ahead before Woody’s 10 km next month. This late winter has not helped with my speed or tempo runs. Still hoping to finish under 50 minutes and win my age group. Cross your fingers.

Finally I went to Mobility with Amy at 6 p.m. Brent and a guy from the 6 a.m. class joined in the fun. Stacy was also back for another session. The torture felt oh so good. I need to do this every day. We worked hips, shoulders, quads and calves. Perfect ending for a tough day.
