Just run for it

A 3-hour run was on my Sunday To-Do list. It was not going to be pretty. I swear my body is not fully recovered from my 4 crossfit workouts this week. With the time change last night, I just wanted to stay in bed. I knew if I ran on my own I may still be running at 4 p.m. I am so glad I mustered up enough energy to get my butt to the Running Room for 8:30 a.m.
There were lots of familiar faces. Motivation! Karen and I ran every step together. The others were thinking speed and we were thinking endurance. So very thankful Karen was there to keep my spirits up. I wanted to crawl under a rock during the first 1.5 hours. Praise Buddha I found my groove in the last half. Whew! We caught up with Michelle & John for coffee. The other three guys had long abandoned us. Great day for a long run with great company!
