Kick start your Monday with a tough WOD

Happy Monday! This morning I dragged myself out of bed. I thought about skipping CrossFit for about half a minute. Nah. I thought I can do this. My legs weren’t feeling as bad as I thought they would after yesterday’s efforts.

I gave myself an extra stretch while the others were setting up for the strength portion – 1RM rack jerk. The WOD scared me. 

My starting base is 50 squats and 50 sit ups. That equals to 325 squats and 325 sit ups. What a way to kick start your week. Surprisingly I didn’t want to collapse after doing the squats (well maybe after the first 150). My downfall were the sit ups. I think I took 4 breaks during the last 150. Brutal! 
I took a nap immediately after the WOD. I want to be sharp for the rest of the day. Covering city meetings can be draining especially when it’s not a hot topic.
