It was a glorious day in Red Deer. (Meaning it was above zero). I allowed myself to stay in bed for a few extra hours to read before I ran. That’s what the weekends are for, right? Taking it easy!
Today’s plan was to run for 1 hour. Pace didn’t matter. I just wanted to be outside and on my feet. I want to build my mileage slowly and wisely. I have 16 weeks to go before Blackfoot and I want to finish strong without injuries. Also I set a new goal this week to set a PR for a 10k (More in a later post).
Before I set off for my run, I downloaded some new music and created a new playlist. I love running to music. I don’t do it all the time but some days I need it. Unknowingly I put enough songs in for 59 minutes. Had to hit repeat all!
I could use some song suggestions. Lately I cannot get enough of Fun or the Lumineers. What are you listening to? Any suggestions for my playlist?
