My training hours did not change much from last week–– 4 hours of running + 3 hours of crossfit + 1 hour of mobility = 8 hours.
This week I am determined to make running a priority in my schedule. Last week my whole body was tired because of the challenging crossfit workouts. I had to make myself run. That’s not a good sign when you have to make yourself do something you love.
CrossFit is so much fun and challenging. I love it. But sometimes I have to remind myself I am doing it to get stronger overall and to become a better runner. If I’m too tired run, what’s the point? As I increase my mileage I will take it easy at CrossFit. As I get closer to Blackfoot, I will undoubtably reduce my WODs. Got to stay focused!
