Go ahead say it… Bad Rhyno

Forgive me readers for I have overindulged all week. I’ve been eating chocolate mindlessly from the candy bowl at the city hall media table. Good news for the months ahead though…. council has banned the candy dishes from council meetings. My waistline thanks them!

I was ahead of the game on Friday though. I brought my own sharable snacks – cucumbers and steamed potatoes. I brought also my leftover green smoothie from the morning.

Back in the day I used to eat a lot of baby carrots for my snacks. It got old pretty quickly. Still I would eat them religiously every day at my desk. Over the years I’ve changed the game and bring random fruits or veg for snacks.

Steamed potatoes on my desk does raise eyebrows. But eating healthy is about eating variety. They are small, tasty and easy to munch. Sometimes I eat leftover meals for my 10 a.m. snack. Yes it probably sounds like a lot. BUT I assure you it works for me. My schedule is so random that I have to make sure I eat enough. My problem has always been forgetting to eat enough.
