I took stock of my poor body tonight. It’s not all bad but it could be better.
- Feels like my shoulder is at about 95 per cent or better. Yay! I am not completely falling apart. I skipped this morning’s CrossFit WOD because it involved a lot of pull ups just to be on the safe side. Besides I am on Team I hate Pull ups!
- Calves and legs are a little tight. But that’s to be expected in the life of the marathoner. My calves were wimpering tonight during my short 6 km. The wimpers reminded me that I need to do some quality stretching and rolling this week.
- My diet is crap. I feel back into the habit of skipping meals and slacking on water. I have no appetite. Of course, this messes up my workouts. I’ve taken notice. Will get back on the healthy eating train.
- Workouts have been consistent. Missed a few CrossFit workouts because of my shoulders. Stretching has been so-so. My runs are short but that’s okay. All in time.
