March recap

In March, I ran 205 kms and survived seven hours of CrossFit. (Probably not as much as I should be at this point.)

These next few weeks will be intense. Time is ticking. I have basically 51 days left before I start tapering. Right now I feel pretty good about the distance.

On the other hand, I’m a little worried about my tempo runs. I haven’t been exactly hitting the pace I would like for several reasons. Mainly it’s the winter training (snowy and icy sidewalks etc.).

But you what? I am okay with this. When I set out to run two marathons this season, I knew the spring race would be a challenge. I am going to continue to train hard and keep my eye on the finish line. Watch out April!
