This morning I ran with the Running Room group. We ran 10 km at a solid pace. I could barely keep up because my left leg was screaming.

I spent most of the afternoon stretching and rolling it out. I really have to get it checked out. It’s been two months since I injured myself at the Lacombe race. I want to be healed. Is that so wrong?
At the New York expo, I picked up the Stick. I’m not entirely sold on it. I don’t have the strength to hit those deep muscles.
That’s why I prefer the travel roller. I just have to roll. Really it’s just that easy. Plus it is much cheaper than a massage. It really hits the spot when I remember to use it. Mostly I use it on my legs and shoulders. Read an article in the Runner’s World on the benefits of foam rolling for runners.
