My short 5k run wasn’t that bad. I took it really, really slow. I think I can do this marathon thing. It’s going to be a long two weeks. I just hope I don’t turn into a whale because of all the extra food I’ve been noshing on.

I wanted to run longer and try my “legs” out but I didn’t want to push it too much.

I bought a New York guide book yesterday to get an idea of where I want to go. There’s so much to see. I don’t have much time so I have to choose wisely. We’re going to have a great time!

This week I think rest, sleep and short runs.

Sleep. Short Runs. Rest. Water. Repeat.
