It’s so amazing how much free time I have when I don’t run. During the week I would just go home after work – do a little stretching, watch a little TV and read some. Still I had hours in front of me.

That just goes to show how much running is a part of my life or at least the marathon training. I don’t know how I will feel when the marathon is over. I’ll need a new goal.

I run NYC in 12 days. It goes without saying that I am nervous and scared. I am still worried about the shape of my legs. I feel pretty good today so I am going to chance a short run. The rest has been great but I really need to get out on those trails.
