Got your attention, right? I’m pretty sure I haven’t found the secret to the perfect run. But I do know if I am well rested and well hydrated my run should hit no snags.
I ran a 10k tempo run to Heritage Ranch (and back). I felt great. I just ran and ignored my watch. I didn’t run on Monday or Tuesday because of my Calgary trip and of course, my usual rest day.
I kept thinking you only run your first marathon one time. And I can only train for my first marathon one time (unless I get injured). These thoughts kept me moving.
In 87 days I don’t want to doubt my training or regret my lack of training. I am determined to put in those miles. I am off tomorrow so I am going to do another track workout. Can’t wait.
