I delved into my speed workouts this morning on the Lindsay Thurber High School track.

Once again I was half asleep when I set out this morning. But I had a better night’s sleep. My body just needs to get used to running in the mornings again.

I started with a beginner track workout. I haven’t seen much of the track since high school so I thought it best to take it slow.

The program I snagged was off a fitness website. It was simple to follow. I’ve seen complicated workouts that make my head spin. This is something I don’t need to figure out especially before coffee.

I wasn’t alone on the track. There two others walking/running around the track. Another man showed up later with a dog. There has to be some dog etiquette on the track, right?

All in all it was a good workout. I pushed myself to the end. I didn’t this.
